On a local level, we’re a small country church of about 50 families. We’re located in the historic Bear Canon Cemetery five miles from Sedalia, CO. St. Philip-in-the-Field, often just called “St. Philip’s”, was founded in 1872 and we still worship in the original building, albeit with modern conveniences. (See the “History” section for our story.)
We are a friendly group of people from various backgrounds and professions who enjoy worshipping in our beautiful little church and having fellowship together. We are always delighted to have visitors, and do our best to make them feel welcome. Or course, we would love it if all our visitors became members!
